About project
“Establishment of the Turkic Academy and the Cultural Heritage Fund shows our aspiration to bring together our youth, to learn together history and language and study our common heritage… The Turkic Academy has great potential for exchange of knowledge and experience, joint training of Turkologists, research of the Turkic heritage”, said the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Turkic Council Summit held in Astana, on September 11, 2015. The Council of Elders, established in 2011 within the framework of the Turkic Council at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, proposed to create a common informative and educational internet portal of the Turkic world.
